About Coach Desi:
While at UConn, Desi was a four-year starter (punter/kickoff specialist) and a co-captain his senior year.  He was a semi-finalist for the Ray Guy award and left UConn as the all-time leading punter in school history.  He was also the recipient of the Kendall Madison Award for being a “strong team player whose dedication, hard work, and outstanding citizenship best exemplify the strong spirit of the UConn Huskies.”  After graduation, he accepted an invitation to attend the Chicago Bears mini-camp and had multiple workouts with NFL/CFL/UFL teams.  Desi currently resides in the Washington, D.C. area  where he is now in his 10th year as an educator.

Coaching Experience:  Coach Desi has over 10+ years coaching specialists.   He has trained numerous high school and college specialists, and runs multiple college camps along the East coast.
  • Trained multiple NCAA All-Americans
  • Trained numerous HS student-athletes in the DC Metro area who have accepted full- scholarships at D1 schools
  • Trained 85% of all specialist who earned “All-Met” since 2015.
  • Trained numerous HS student-athletes who have received All-State honors and nation recognition 
  • Kicking Consultant for multiple D1 schools
  • Led over 25 College Specialist Camps including:  University of Maryland, James Madison University (JMU), Penn State, Old Dominion University (ODU), Liberty University, University of West Virginia, University of Connecticut (UConn), University of Massachusetts (UMASS), University of Cincinnati, University of Texas, Fordham University, Howard University, Towson University, & Western Kentucky University (WKU)
